You’d like to try appendix carry, but want to avoid the infamous drawer full of holsters. The solution? A Sidekick.
It’s modular, so it works incredibly well from appendix carry, to 3-4 o’clock. Featuring a tuck-able clip from Raven Concealment, you can adjust the angle of cant as well as the ride height.
The claw, a must for an appendix carry holster, is integral. If you don’t want the wedge, simply remove it. Using the wedge will tip the rear sights in to your body, and is only necessary when carrying aiwb, for most of us. (More appendix carry tips here.)
This is the back with the wedge removed. You may notice that the slide area has been extended for sub-compact guns like the Shield and G43. This helps with stability and comfort. Even a good, stiff, gun belt doesn’t hold the holster securely enough without a little help.
Raven Concealment doesn’t make the Eidolon for M&P Shields (pictured above) – or any pistol except Glocks currently – but thankfully, they have chosen to make some of their components available. I don’t want to mislead you; this kydex holster is not made or endorsed by Raven Concealment.
The Sidekick is not ambidextrous. But you do get to choose your favorite color. 🙂 Buy it here.
Can’t decide what sweat guard you need, or even know what a sweat guard is?
What pistol are you carrying that you would like to see me add to the lineup?
